Women’s Mela: 3 day event comes to a close
Colourful stalls were set up for the function and scores of women from all over the district attended the event.

A three-day Women’s Mela in the district ended on Friday. Colourful stalls were set up for the function and scores of women from all over the district attended the event. Women also performed a cultural dance called ‘Rohi’ and female pyrrho artists performed with torches. A series of stalls selling handicrafts and fabric were a popular feature of the mela. MNA Javed Warraich distributed prizes for the best stalls and to performers.
