Foundation stone laid: An APS for Parachinar

The Commander Peshawar Corps Lt Gen Nazir Ahmed Butt visited forward areas of Kurram Agency on Wednesday. He was given a detailed briefing on the prevailing security situation in the area. He also laid the foundation stone for an Army Public School (APS) in Parachinar.  The school had been announced by the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa during his visit to the Agency earlier this year on January 22. During his visit on Wednesday, the Corps Commander Lt Gen Butt also interacted with tribal elders of the area and lauded their efforts in maintaining tribal and sectarian harmony.
