K-P Education minister says PC-I has been approved

PESHAWAR: The K-P Minister for Elementary Education Atif Khan has suggested that the provincial government has approved a PC -1 for Blended Learning under the Information and Communication Technology in Education Transformation Model Project.

The project, which is estimated to cost of Rs4.33 billion, will be completed in a year and is expected to be included in the next financial year 2017-18.

The project aims to improve the educational standard and teaching skills of the teachers of government schools, Khan said while chairing a meeting in Peshawar on Wednesday on introducing new IT trends and technologies in the education sector.

Khan was briefed in detail by a representative of One Screen on introducing new IT Technologies and highlighted the importance and salient features of the proposed project.

The education minister maintained that the Blended Project would not only improve the learning of students and teaching methodology of the teachers.
