
“United Nations Military Observers at UNMOGIP [UN Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan] were invited to GHQ to register a protest over unprovoked ceasefire violations and targeting of civilian population by Indian troops on 10th, 13th and 16th May,” the army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
Indian army used small arms, automatic and heavy caliber weapons, heavy mortar (122mm mortars) and field artillery in Sabzkot, Baroh, Tandar, Khuiratta, Kot Koterra and Karela sectors, the communiqué added.
