‘Belt And Road Forum’: Premier to discuss various agreements

Gwadar expressway and upgrade of railway track ML-1 were on the agenda of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif

BEIJING: Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Ahsan Iqbal revealed Friday that agreements for construction of Gwadar Airport, Gwadar expressway and upgrade of railway track ML-1 were on the agenda of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during his week-long visit to China. In an interview with APP during the flight en route to Beijing along with the prime minister to attend ‘Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation’, Iqbal said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor was the world’s biggest project of regional connectivity. He added that chief ministers of all provinces were participating in the belt and road forum.
