Motorcycling: Pedrosa to race despite injury
Spanish motorcyclist seems to have recovered from damaged nerves after a crash at the Japan Grand Prix last October.
BARCELONA:
Dani Pedrosa will ride in Sunday’s Spanish MotoGP despite discovering he damaged nerves in his arm in a crash at the Japan Grand Prix last October. The Spaniard looked to have made a good recovery following surgery but complained his arm felt numb during the Qatar GP on March 20. A scan showed his broken collarbone had mended but unearthed a nerve problem. Pedrosa will have further surgery after Sunday’s race but says he is “relaxed” about the operation.
