AIOU holds reference for employee

Forty-five year old Ahmed, a gardener at the campus university was doing his work when a beehive on a nearby tree fell and a swarm of bees attacked him and five other gardeners. He had Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Tuesday held a condolence reference for its employee Gulzar Ahmed who died last week after being stung multiple times by a swarm of bees. He has left behind a widow and three children. Addressing the reference, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui said that the University was giving financial support to of the deceased family, besides proving a job to one of the family members.
