Apple will release its iPhone 8 as per schedule in September, according to a new report.

Rumours had been circulating over the course of the month claiming the iPhone 8 launch might be delayed due to certain production issues but a new report has emerged claiming the new iPhone will be released right on schedule.

According to a report by Chinese-language Economic Daily News, similar to previous launches, Apple will unveil its new iPhone in September. However, users won’t be able to get their hands on the new iPhones before October, which is later than Apple's typical iPhone releases. Usually, new Apple handsets hit store shelves in September.

Previously an analyst had claimed that the iPhone 8 launch could be delayed by up to two months due to significant hardware upgrades fuelling rumours that the 10th-anniversary edition iPhone 8 would hit the markets as late as January 2018.

Is this what the iPhone 8 may look like?

However, Apple's parts suppliers are reportedly on track with no delay to the August/September mass production schedule.

Apple is widely expected to release the iconic iPhone 8 to mark the Tech giant’s 10th year anniversary this year along with the iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus, two phones that follow the tech giant's traditional update cycle.

Further, reports suggested the iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus would get an earlier release date during the traditional launch period of September while the new iPhone 8 would enter the market near the start of the next year.

However, this report quells any discrepancies in terms of their launch periods and issues a uniform schedule for all anticipated devices.
