Pending matters: ‘PTI to open decades-old cases against Nawaz’

Aleem said that his party would open all pending cases against rulers and would not allow anyone to escape

LAHORE: The Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has indicated it will open three decades-old cases in which Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is allegedly involved.

PTI Central Punjab President Abdul Aleem Khan said on Monday Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) activists and leaders will have to face defeat. He stated people involved in the ephedrine scam had no credibility. “PTI Chairman Imran Khan has a clean record,” he said, adding he had brought billions of rupees investment back to Pakistan.

Aleem said that his party would open all pending cases against rulers and would not allow anyone to escape. Aleem said that everyone in the country knew what sort of contribution the PML-N had made in the country’s politics. He added the PML-N leaders were baffled as they had seen an end to their rule.

He appreciated the PTI event committee and party workers for organising a successful public gathering in Sialkot.
