Academic reforms: UAF, Canadian varsity ink research deal
Universities to collaborate in research, academia, capacity building and student-teachers’ exchange programmes.
FAISALABAD:
The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad has signed two agreements with a Canadian university to collaborate in research, academia, capacity building and student-teachers’ exchange programmes.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) were inked by UAF Vice-Chancellor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan and University of Prince Edward Island, Canada Associate Dean Nick Krouglicof on behalf of Canadian University President Dr Alaa Abd-Ei-Aziz.
The UAF and University of Prince Edward Island will cooperate in academic research and establishing projects in future. They would continue working on development of 1+3 undergraduate degree programme in engineering. The students enrolled in this programme will complete one year at UAF and the remaining three years at UPEI.
Both varsities will work jointly on modern technologies to boost academic interactions.
