Seven killed in separate accidents

Four people, including two children died

ISLAMABAD:
Four people, including two children died and 14 others sustained injuries when a passenger vehicle fell into a ravine in Lower Dir.

Police said the van was travelling from Asban to Gulabad when it went out of driver’s control at a sharp turn and fell into a deep ravine. Local people helped retrieve the bodies and the injured and transported them to local hospital.

Eight killed in separate road accidents on Indus Highway


According to doctors, condition of 10 people was critical. Separately, three people died and two others injured in a car accident in Mohmand Agency.

The administration said the accident happened in Yakkaghund area last evening when a speeding car of wedding guests rammed into a parked truck loaded with marble.
