Samsung launches Galaxy S8 and S8+ in Pakistan

Samsung launched its flagship devices Galaxy S8 and S8+ in Pakistan on Friday.

The launch event was held at Hazoori Bagh, Shahi Qila in Lahore.

The latest Samsung flagship devices feature 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch QHD 2960 x 1440 resolution infinity display. Both the devices are equipped with Samsung Exynos 8895, 1.7GHz + 2.5GHz Octa-Core SoC and 4GB of RAM, making the devices run seamlessly.



Both the devices are rated IP8, which means the phones are water resistant up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes.

Galaxy S8 and S8+ have 8MP front camera with F1.7 lens and auto-focus features. Both the devices boast a 12MP camera on the back, capable of shooting 4K videos.

Speaking at the occasion, Mobile Business Head of Samsung Pakistan & Afghanistan Umar Ghumman claimed that Samsung brings state-of-the-art technology to the table every time it launches a new device. “We will continue to strive to deliver innovative ideas that shape the future of our world. Our consumers will get the chance to experience hands-on the smartphones’ beautifully crafted design and multicolored layers,” said Ghumman.
