Self-employment: Graduates asked to start their own business

Smeda could provide assistance to new business entrants regarding registration, recruitment and documentation.

MULTAN:

Youth can benefit from self-employment rather than wasting their precious time searching for jobs after completing their education, said Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda) consultant Hina Anwar.

Addressing a training workshop titled “Legal Requirements of New Businesses,” at Bahauddin Zakariya University, Anwar said if youth would like to develop their own businesses, they can find feasibility reports of many new firms on Smeda’s website.

Anwar added that Smeda could provide assistance to new business entrants regarding registration, recruitment of skilled staff and documentation.
