The exhibition - RAWAL International EXPO 2017 - will be held at Ayub National Park in Rawalpindi. It will feature industries such as garments, leather, gem and jewellery, home appliances and furniture.
Providing details about the event, Iqbal said that RCCI has been organising exhibitions inside and outside the country. “Last year, we organised Rawal Expo 2016, which proved to be a great success. We received a lot of appreciation and based on the feedback and we are going to organise a five-day exhibition between May 10 and 14,” he said.
The RCCI president added that during the five-day exhibition, buyers will have the opportunity to book orders on the spot.
More than 15 international countries, including China, Thailand, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Nepal and Sri Lanka, will display their products in the expo. The countries will also participate in cultural evenings during the event.
Iqbal believes that RAWAL International EXPO 2017 will enable the country to engage in additional business activity and will also provide people with entertainment.
