RAWALPINDI:
Livestock department of Rawalpindi, along with police, raided an illegal abattoir in the limits of Waris Khan police and seized about 120 kilogrammes of unhygienic meat. During the raid, two suppliers, identified as Arslan and Abid were held besides discarding the confiscated meat. A case has been registered against the suppliers and further proceedings are underway. A number of people have recently been caught selling unhygienic meat in the city.
