Repeated Complaints: Police bust gang of bike thieves
A case has been registered while further investigation is underway
MIRPUR:
Mirpur police have busted a gang of motorbike thieves besides recovering 11 stolen bikes from their possession. The alleged thieves, according to police were caught after hectic efforts following a number of cases in the city. Responding to repeated complaints of bike thefts, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mirpur Raja Irfan Salim said on Saturday that a special police team, led by SHO City Police Station, Inspector Muhammad Naseer was tasked to catch the gang. Police team after hard efforts managed to arrest the suspects from various areas of the city and recovered the stolen two-wheelers. Muhammad Naveed, Muhammad Razaq, Arslan Shani and Muhammad Shoaib were sent behind the bars. He said, a case has been registered while further investigation is underway.
