PARIS: US President Donald Trump said on Friday he expected the killing of a police personnel in central Paris to have an impact on France's presidential election, in which the first round of voting is taking place on Sunday.

"Another terrorist attack in Paris. The people of France will not take much more of this. Will have a big effect on presidential election!" Trump said on Twitter.
