KARACHI: As is true with every red carpet affair, our fraternities finest strutted the Lux Style Awards 2017 awards ceremony with enthusiasm and much panache. While there were some hits and misses, here’s a roundup of the looks that stole the show (and our hearts)!

Safinaz Muneer

The ace designer wore a trendy number from Sana Safinaz’s latest Chateau Marmont collection, but what really struck us about her look what the impeccable styling. With her hair tied in a classic bun, a glitzy box clutch and black chandelier earrings to match, Safinaz created harmony between her heavily embroidered jacket and glamorous yet understated accessories. We absolutely loved the on-trend way she dropped her jacket off one shoulder.

The Raees star looked smoking hot in Black Archive. The slim-fitted, long black dress was classic in colour and concept, but edgy in its design. The perfectly placed cut-outs on the skin-tight dress complemented the superstar’s petite figure marvellously. Earrings by Dior, bangles by Kiran Fine Jewellery and effortless beachy waves completed her look. She truly was a face that could launch a thousand ships at LSA 2017!

Syra Shehroz

She wore an elegant white gown by Lebanese designer, Rania Khem. The Cinderella-esque, off-shoulder dress featured metallic detailing and an enlarged bow in the back. Therefore, Syra Shehroz was clever in styling it minimally, with simple pearl and diamond jewellery, and a mother-of-pearl clutch. Though the gown was voluminous, it cinched in right at the waist, giving the movie star ample definition. If there was anyone in a gown on the red carpet that deserved a round of applause – it certainly was Syra.
