KARACHI: This year's Lux Style Awards (LSA) are just a few hours away and the preparations are in full swing. And while we already know the Crème de la Crème of Pakistan's entertainment industry will be there, guess who else was spotted at the show's rehearsals last night?

It was none other than the famed Turkish Mera Sultan star, Halit Ergenç! The 47-year-old who played the lead role of Sultan in the super popular Turkish TV show was seen enjoying the LSA rehearsals, albeit under tight security.

This leads us to wonder....With Atif Aslam, Ali Zafar, Mahira Khan and many others already performing at the show tonight, could Halit be joining them? Or has he just been invited to give away an award? Maybe he is being given an award for his contributions to Pakistani tv as a foreign actor?

Of course, these are all speculations and we can't say anything for sure. However, what we are sure of is that Turkish dramas really took the Pakistani drama industry by storm over the last few years, be it Mera Sultan or Ishq-e-Mamnoon, and that will reflect in the crowd's applause tonight when Ergenç appears on stage.

Furthermore, this year's LSAs will be hosted by Hareem Farooq and Tina Sani will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award on the occasion, while Osman Khalid Butt has written the script. Need we say more?

With so much to look forward to, we can't wait to find out what the LSAs have in store for us this time around!
