NHLH division to start work on 'Mini Pakistan' project soon
Irfan Siddiqui says division has already acquired initial funds to execute project
ISLAMABAD:
Special Assistant to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on National History and Literary Heritage Irfan Siddiqui has announced on Tuesday that the "Mini Pakistan" project on the premises of Quaid's mausoleum in Karachi will be launched soon.
The National History and Literary Heritage (NHLH) division has acquired the initial funds to execute the unique project, he revealed during a meeting with a delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FPCCI) in the capital.
‘National Book Fair 2017’: Three-day fair from next week
President FPCCI Zubair Fareed Tufail was heading the delegation while Vice President FPCCI Main Shaukat Masood and other officials also attended the meeting.
Siddiqui explained that the project would add to the beauty of the mausoleum by depicting every colour of Pakistan and, in turn, promote the spirit of solidarity and harmony.
He also elaborated upon the recent initiatives taken by the division to promote the culture of book reading and literature in the country. The PM’s special assistant also highlighted the upcoming projects including the three-day ‘National Book Fair’ at the Pak-China Friendship Centre.
Siddiqui said that the upcoming book fair would feature a huge variety of books, ensuring that people of all ages enjoyed the event.

The FPCCI delegation also appreciated the NHLH division’ efforts in arranging activities such as the ‘National Book Fair’ and assured their full support in the future.
Meanwhile, Ikhtiar Baig – a prominent industrialist and FPCCI delegation member – announced that he would donate a set of his book on economics for the book fair.
