The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is set to organise the Lahore Shopping Festival (LSF) from April 3 to 10, 2011. Lahore Shopping Festival (LSF) is being organised in collaboration with the government of Punjab to highlight the country’s cultural heritage and promote a soft image of it.
Malik said that the LSF would kick off with the final of the LSF Polo Tournament at the Lahore Polo Club. This will be followed by a qiraat competition on April 5. A vintage car rally has been orgnaised from Siddique Trade Centre, Gulberg, to Liberty Chowk on April 6. A Young Entrepreneurs Business Plan Competition has also been organised on April 6. A musical evening in collaboration with the World Punjabi Organisation will take place on the same day. LCCI senior vice president Shiekh Muhammad Arshad said on April 7, a peace walk will take place from LCCI to Alhamra followed by a photography competition. The Lahore Wrestling Championship will take place on April 8. A heavy bike rally has also been organised from the LCCI offices to the Lahore Expo Centre on the same day followed by a fashion show at Royal Palm at 8pm.April 9 will feature a conference on Investment.Opportunities at Lahore Expo Auditorium followed by a cycle race from LCCI to the Expo Centre the next day.
