Three Indians identified in Col Zahir's abduction

ISLAMABAD:
At least three more characters involved in the kidnapping of Pakistan Army’s Colonel (retd) Habib Zahir in Nepal have been unearthed and a whole network of Indian agencies seems to be implicated in the kidnapping.

All three persons involved are Indians and they include one who booked his air ticket, another who booked his hotel room and the third one who received him at Lumbini airport.

Safal Choudhry, an Indian citizen, purchased ticked for Col (retd) Zahir from Precious Travel and Tours in Kathmandu. His mobile number is 9804815702. A lady named Sabu Raju booked hotel room for Col Zahir in Hyatt Regency. She works as a marketing manager in a company in Kathmandu. Another Indian citizen, Doli Ranchel, received Zahir at Lumbini airport. Ranchel arrived in Kathmandu on 4 April which proves that he was not staying in Nepal and had gone there just for this particular purpose.

According to new disclosures, Col (retd) Zahir was in correspondence through a website since January and he was trapped into a conspiracy with an email written in the name of Mark Thomson. The hotel booking was made for him for April 6-9. The date of his interview was changed several times. He was kidnapped by Indian intelligence agencies as soon as he landed at Kathmandu airport.

Pakistan is in constant touch with the Nepal government and the two countries are cooperating with each other.
