Fight with husband: Woman throws minor boy in canal
Body found from the canal after three days and was sent to hospital for a post-mortem.
BHAKKAR:
The body of a four-year-old boy was fished out from the Thal canal near Zafar Morr in Chak-36, Bhakkar on Monday. Police said Samina Bibi threw his son Muhammad Irfan in the canal three days ago after a heated argument with her husband Mumtaz Hussain over some domestic issues.
The body was found from the canal after three days and was sent to hospital for a post-mortem.
Police have arrested Samina Bibi and started interrogation.
In another incident, an eight-year-old physically-challenged girl Fatima Noor was burnt to death in a house fire on Canal Road. Police said five fire engines along with rescue teams extinguished the fire.
The girl’s mother works as a maid and was out for work when the fire broke out.
