LONDON: Barcelona clinched La Liga with a 4-0 win at home to Real Valladolid.
Luis Prieto scored an own goal after 27 minutes and Pedro doubled the lead before Argentina forward Lionel Messi notched a second-half brace, taking his tally for the season to 34.
Barca finished with a Spanish league record of 99 points, three ahead of Real Madrid who were held 1-1 at Malaga.
