Ghotki police have yet to resolve the mystery of the death of a 12-year-old girl whose body was found near a drain in Qadirpur on Friday night.
According to reports, 12-year-old Asima, daughter of Mehram Bhutto, used to supply milk in the nearby area.
Killed and dumped: 13-year-old boy found dead in Rawat
On Friday she went to supply milk and never returned home and after around four hours of her disappearance, her body was found near a drain in the locality.
Local police shifted her body to taluka hospital Ghotki, where the doctors said that she had sustained a head injury, which might have resulted in her death.
Shot in the head: Body found dumped
Some of the women of the area who performed the girl’s last rites told Ghotki-based reporters that wounds were visible on her head, neck and back.
On contact, the A Section police station Ghotki’s Assistant Head Constable, Abdul Hafeez, said no case has been lodged.
