Healthy competition: Riphah festival ends
Festival intended to provide platform for youngsters to play a constructive role in the future of Pakistan.
ISLAMABAD:
The five-day Youth Festival at Riphah International University concluded here on Friday with a special evening.
The Festival started on March 21 and included games, competitions, a poster exhibition, a book and a job fair. Famous poets Sarfaraz Shahid and Dr Inam recited humorous poetry on the final day.
The main objective of the festival was to provide a platform for youngsters to play a constructive role. Students also adopted a resolution on the occasion expressing the determination of the youth to build a future Pakistan as envisaged by the founders of the country. Later, certificates of achievement were distributed to participants.
