Khyber-pakhtunkhwa: Govt to resolve industry’s problems
Kausar agreed to meet with the business community on a frequent basis to discuss pressing issues.
PESHAWAR:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Barrister Masood Kausar has said sincere efforts are under way to develop and promote trade and business activities, adding that it is important to involve the business community in resolving their grievances.
Speaking to a delegation of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kausar agreed to meet with the business community on a frequent basis to discuss pressing issues. The delegation members talked about implementation of relief packages, trade with Afghanistan through land route, security problems, traffic congestion and air and rail freight issues.
Kausar said sometimes the government may have to take decisions that may be unpopular, but they were always in the best interest of people, he stressed.
Both the president and the prime minister were struggling to bring normalisation in conflict-stricken areas, especially through proper implementation of relief packages, he added.
