"Besides imparting academic education to these children, we also provide them vocational training, which includes tailoring, embroidery and woodwork, so that after completing their formal education they do not have to depend upon government jobs and can start their own businesses," Memon explained. He lauded the efforts of the teachers at the institution. "It is very easy to deal with normal children but taking care of differently-abled children requires special skills and patience," he added.

The deputy director of the social welfare department headquarters, Din Mohammad, congratulated the children on their success. Appreciating the loving and caring attitude of the teachers and staff, he told them, "Though you are performing your assigned duties, you are getting sawab for it as well". "Believe me, every person with a disability has something very special in exchange for it," he said.

The deputy director of the Child Protection Unit, Sukkur, Naheed Afshan, said, "Those working for the welfare of the differently-abled children are doing a tremendous job."
