Classroom Tools: FBISE told to ensure presence of books
Directs officials of the National Curriculum Council Secretariat to coordinate with HEC to finalise the material
ISLAMABAD:
Minister of State for Federal Education Balighur Rehman on Tuesday instructed the FBISE chairman to ensure that revised computer science textbooks for class IX are available in the market by next week. Chairing the eight meeting on the National Curriculum Review, Rehman further instructed FBISE to compare curriculums for classes IX to XII with that of Cambridge University Press and submit their findings and recommendations. The minister was told that a draft of materials aimed at including concepts of democracy and Constitution in textbooks taught in schools had been prepared. He directed officials of the National Curriculum Council (NCC) Secretariat to coordinate with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to finalise the material.
