Earthquake jolts parts of K-P
No loss of life or property reported, says PDMA

A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Mansehra, Chitral, Mingora and adjoining areas on Tuesday.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 5.0 on the Richter scale at a depth of 159km. “The quake’s epicentre was Hindu Kush region, Afghanistan,” PMD said.

People rushed out of their houses and offices in panic. However, a spokesperson for the Pakistan Disaster Management Authority, K-P, said no loss of life had been reported.
Last month, a 4.0-magnitude earthquake was reported in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and surrounding areas.
