MIRPUR:
The federal government has appointed Dr Ijaz Munir as Chief Secretary of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, official source said. Dr Munir was serving as additional secretary at the PM Secretariat, Islamabad before his new assignment. He will replace Sikander Sultan Raja, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, who has been transferred and posted as additional secretary in-charge of the Aviation Division, a senior official of the AJK government said on Saturday.
