US delivers Cessna aircraft to Pakistan Army

Force has received six aircrafts since November last year

ISLAMABAD: The United States has made another delivery of Cessna aircraft to the Pakistan Army, a press release issued by the US embassy in Islamabad said on Friday.

The Office of the US Defence Representative delivered the aircraft on March 24, according to the press release. It said Pakistan Army has received six Cessna planes – two Cessna 208 Caravans and four Cessna 206H aircraft – since November 2016.

The aircraft will increase Pakistan Army’s air mobility by enhancing its ability to conduct medical evacuations and provide limited troop and equipment transport.

The press release added that the Pakistan Army Aviation Command thanked the US for the delivery of Cessna aircraft.
