Video sets out to show the true beauty of Pakistan in just four minutes

It comes as no surprise when conversations pertaining to Pakistan comprise of crime and terrorism, its several economic and infrastructure woes and its tainted image in international media. A blind eye is often turned on the country's progress, its rich history and hospitable people.

A new video posted on a Facebook page, Enchanted Pakistan, sets out to show the true beauty of Pakistan in just four minutes. From Pakistan's rich culture, heritage and scenic landscapes, to its beautiful lakes, gardens and grand mosques; the video manages to cover every aspect of Pakistan in the most beautiful way.

The video begins by showing the Indus Valley Civilization from 3000BC and then moves on to a short journey through a beautifully arched corridor of the iconic Badshahi Masjid in Lahore.

We are then taken through some of Pakistan's most beautiful gardens, shown the intricate art adorned on mosque walls and taken back in time in history as we are shown some of the iconic forts in the country.

This video will make even Lahoris proud of Karachi

Nature can be found in abundance in Pakistan; you just need to know where to look. The video does a perfect job by taking viewers through Pakistan's lakes, its beautiful mountains and glaciers and breathtaking landscapes. Pakistan is truly a country which enables its people to explore, experience and discover.

Pakistanis are known for their rich culture, its traditions and its hospitality. Footage from the video does not fall short of showing exactly this. Viewers are shown traditional dancing from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, delicious food, and cups of tea which we so very much love as a nation.

From young boys indulging in a game of cricket- our favourite sport- to aerial views of Karachi, Islamabad's countryside and bustling markets there is no facet of Pakistan that is not portrayed in the video.
