ISLAMABAD:
Three motorcyclists died and just as many were injured on Sunday when two motorbikes collided in Bhara Kahu police station area, a police spokesman said. He said two bikes being ridden by six teenagers hit each other in the Shahdara area, following which three of the riders died on the spot and the remaining three were critically injured. The deceased have been identified as Fahad Aftab, Saeed Abbasi, and Qamar Khalid while those admitted in hospital are Sami Aftab, Naqash, and Mohsin Ashfaq. Meanwhile, a media house worker in Islamabad identified as M Waqas was crushed to death by a truck number JE-5811 at Khayaban-e-Kashmir in Golra police station vicinity, as he was going home on his motorbike. Police have impounded the truck but the errant driver managed to escape. The driver’s search is underway.
