A CIA Cantonment police team raided a hideout and arrested Bakht Alam

Crime Investigations Agency police claimed to have arrested on Monday a proclaimed offender wanted in several cases of murder and terrorism. A CIA Cantonment police team raided a hideout place after receiving information about a suspected terrorist, Bakht Alam, hiding there and arrested the suspect, who carries a head money of Rs1 million. The man is wanted by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa police in 10 cases with the first FIR against him dating back to 1985. The latest case was registered against Bakht in Deerbala district in 2014. Two cases under Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1997 and Section 4 of the explosives act are also registered against him. The K-P government had announced a head money of Rs1 million for the suspect. CIA SP Tariq Mastoi has appreciated the efforts of the CIA Cantt DSP and his team for the arrest.
