The Senate Standing Committee on Commerce, Wednesday, formed a subcommittee for getting recommendations to resolve the main issues being faced by women chambers in the country. The subcommittee, which was formed under the convenorship of Senator Rubina Khalid along with other members, was directed to review issues being faced by women chambers and submit recommendations to the committee. The committee meeting, chaired by Senator Syed Shibli Faraz, not only discussed the problems facing women but also future plans for enhancing their capacity. Faraz urged the Ministry of Commerce to give financial support to these chambers for sustainability and enhancing their capacity.
