
While addressing the inaugural ceremony, Shaukat Hayat Khan Bosan said, “The motive of Punjab government is to develop rural areas along with the development of urban areas. Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is utilising more resources on the betterment of rural areas as compared to the previous governments.”
He said the services of Rescue 1122 had been initiated on the demand of people. He said hundreds of people belonging to rural areas will now get benefits from the service. “The people of Alampur Union Council, Bosan Union Council, Jhok Vains Union Council, Mati Tal Union Council, Lutfabad Union Council, Anayatpur Mahota Union Council and people of nearby union councils will be facilitated by rescue services,” he added.
He maintained the provincial government was making efforts to empower the people of rural areas. “The government is utilising all efforts to provide ease to the masses,” he said.
Meanwhile, Rescue 1122 District Incharge Dr Kaleemullah said, “Initially two buses have been provided to carry out rescue work but soon more buses would be added to the fleet.”
The people appreciated the inauguration of Rescue 1122 service in the rural areas.
Ali Noor, a resident of Adda Bosan, told The Express Tribune, “There was no emergency rescue service in the area. We are thankful to the Punjab government for fulfilling our wishes.”
