Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif took notice of the fight inside Punjab University and sought a report from the Lahore CCPO.
More than a dozen students were injured on Tuesday when activists of a religio-political student wing attacked the celebrations of Pakhtun Culture Day, which aimed to mark the Nauroz festival.
Taking notice of the hooliganism, Shehbaz said strict legal action without discrimination must be taken against the elements behind the clash.
