Decomposed body of 55-year-old found locked in a house in Dhok Hassu.
RAWALPINDI:
The decomposed body of a 55-year-old man who had been kidnapped earlier was found in a locked house in Dhok Hassu on Sunday.
Muhammad Shahzad, a resident of Kashmir, had gone missing last month along with his vehicle, after which a kidnapping report was registered in Pirwadhai police station.
On Sunday, the residents of the area noticed a foul smell emitting from the house and informed Gunjmandi police, who found the body inside.
The police shifted the body to District Head Quarter Hospital for an autopsy. The owner of the house told the police that he had rented out the room in which the body was found to a resident of Faisalabad, Muhammad Asif , whom he had met only twice.
