Fatal mishap: Accidental gunshot kills minor girl
The victim was shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival

A minor girl was shot dead in Shahdara on Saturday. Initial investigation suggested the victim’s brother Muhammad Asif was playing with a gun when it went off accidentally and the bullet hit the girl, six-year-old Almas Fatima.
The victim was shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival. Police took the body in custody for autopsy, collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and recorded statements of witnesses.
In Badami Bagh area, a man was killed in a road accident near Band Road. Police said the victim identified as Sameer Ahmad was travelling on a motorcycle. He tried to overtake a fast-moving vehicle but lost control of the motorcycle and slipped. He suffered fatal injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
