As we all know, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has always gone overboard with his feelings towards Deepika Padukone and vice versa. Their mutual admiration is usually too obvious to miss but the couple has not been spotted together for quite some time now.
While this could simply be a case of busy schedules, neither Deepika nor Ranveer have even spoken of one another. This has led fans and the media to speculate whether the duo might have called it quits, reported Yahoo!
Deepika fuelled speculations further when she shared a picture of herself with ex beau Ranbir Kapoor from the song Balam Pichkari on Holi. The actress was reminiscing about those days and did not share a picture from her Holi song with Ranveer, Lahu Muh Lag Gaya.

At a recent event, Deepika was asked about Ranveer and the status of their relationship. The actress agreed to a reporter’s question and said that she has broken up with her beau, if the reporter thought so.
On the other end of the rumour mill is a source close from the sets of Deepika and Ranveer's upcoming film Padmavati, who revealed that they are maintaining distance for a reason and are still together.
Controversy regarding Padmavati has escalated in the last one month. The film has landed into trouble due to the love scenes between Rani Padmini (Deepika) and emperor Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer).
Nonetheless, the makers of the film have issued a statement that there will be no love scenes in the film between Ranveer and Deepika’s character. In order to reassure that there are no intimate scenes in the film, Ranveer and Deepika have been asked to stay away from each other.
