Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will soon hold a national expo to showcase work of young researchers for the benefit of country’s socio-economic development through academia and industry linkages.
The researchers and representatives of the industrial sector will be invited from all over the country to provide them a platform to interact with each other for use of research-findings, this was announced by the Vice Chancellor Dr Shahid Siddiqui while addressing the concluding session of the two-day national Graduate Conference, arranged by the university’s office of Research Innovation and Commercialisation (ORIC).
The event will be aimed at encouraging the young researchers and disseminating their research-findings among the end-users and policy-makers for the community’s welfare.
It will also help to arrange internship for the students in the relevant industry.
