Karachi Zoo welcomed a new pair of bears on Thursday.
According to a statement issued by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, the brown bears arrived in the park after 16 years.

The male bear is South Asian where the female is Syrian, the statement read.
Deputy Mayor Arshad Vohra said the local government will try its best to increase animals in the zoo for the entertainment of the citizens of Karachi.
