Tibbi City encounter: Injured constable breathes his last
Another official wounded in the same encounter died on Tuesday.

Another police constable, who suffered injuries in a recent encounter at Tibbi City, succumbed to his injuries at Mayo Hospital early on Thursday morning.
Rizwanullah and Zafar Iqbal, the two policemen killed in the encounter, were part of a team that went to raid the hideout of robbers. When the team reached the location, its members were attacked by unidentified suspects.
The victims suffered injuries and were admitted to Mayo Hospital treatment. Zaffar Iqbal breathed his last on Tuesday, while Rizwan died early on Thursday.
His funeral prayers were offered at Qila Gujjar Singh Police Lines where a number of senior police officials, including Punjab IGP and Lahore CCPO, were present, along with the families of the deceased.
Speaking on the occasion, Punjab IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera vowed to continue action against terrorists, anti-social elements and their facilitators till peace was completely restored in the province.
Rizwanullah, who hailed from the Chak Jhumra area of Faisalabad, joined the police force as a constable on October 15, 2010. His last deployment was at CIA Civil Lines. He left behind a father, wife, three brothers and a sister.
