PESHAWAR: The fourth phase of the return and rehabilitation of the temporarily displaced persons in South Waziristan Agency commenced on Wednesday and will continue till April 8, 2017.
Official sources stated that during this stage, a total of 35 villages of Tehsil Ladha and Makeen will be rehabilitated.

In an effort to facilitate the smooth return, the staging camp has been located at Khairgai which houses all requisite infrastructures for smooth registration of TDPs.
The facilities include medical centre, polio vaccination, children amusement centres and TDPs facilitation desk.

Official sources also said that the progress of return was encouraging and aptly reflected through daily average turnover of around 400 families adding each verified family was receiving Rs25,000 cash assistance and Rs10,000 as transportation grant.
