Biotechnology: Young leaders moot held in Peshawar

The conference brought together students studying life sciences to discuss the future of biotechnology in the country

PESHAWAR: The Directorate of Science and Technology of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government organised a one-day “Biotech Young Leaders Conference” in Peshawar. The event was held in collaboration with the Institute of Integrative Biosciences CECOS University. The conference brought together students studying life sciences to discuss the future of biotechnology in the country. The director of the Institute of Integrative Biosciences, Faisal Khan, said ‘that it is vital for us to organise such events for young students to enhance their energy levels and divert their minds from pessimism towards optimism.”
