Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has felicitated the Hindu community of the province on the occasion of their annual spring festival of Holi.
“Holi spreads the message of love, peace, and tolerance in the country,” he said in a statement issued on Sunday. “This is the festival of spring, colour and brotherhood. This is the festival of happiness and joy.”
“All minorities enjoy equal rights in Pakistan and the Hindu community of Pakistan has played an important role in the progress of the country,” he added.
