Governor of Sindh lauds women's role in improving image of country
Muhammad Zubair believes we should be proud of remarkable contribution of women towards economy
KARACHI:
Lauding the role of women in improving the image of our country, Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair said the contribution of women towards the economy of Pakistan is remarkable and something we should be proud of.
He said this at Governor House, where he was hosting the 9th LADIESFUND Women's Awards 2017 on Saturday.
"Let's be realistic," said Zubair. "Yes, our perception in the world is not very good. But then we are improving at a very good pace and these women are [the reason] of the improvement Pakistan has achieved so far."

The guest of honour, Seema Aziz, who was also the LADIESFUND 2017 Life Time Achievement Award winner, said that success is not only to just earn money but to execute your ideas and believing in them firmly. She added that a successful entrepreneur is not one who makes good money but the one who keeps challenging themselves with new ideas.
