Traders want an underpass in Blue Area
The demand was made after a meeting between ICCI President and members of All Traders Welfare Association Blue Area

The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has urged the Capital Development Authority to resolve the traffic congestion in Blue Area by building a parking facility and an underpass.
The demand was made following a meeting between ICCI President Khalid Iqbal Malik and a delegation of newly elected office bearers of All Traders Welfare Association of Blue Area, led by its president Yousaf Rajput.
In a statement released on Friday, Malik recalled that CDA Chairman Sheikh Anser Aziz had assured them that the parking issue, underpass and other key issues faced by traders in the Blue Area would be resolved.
Malik said that the CDA chairman should honour his assurances. Rajput said that apart from parking and underpass, Blue Area was also facing a host problems including sewerage, filtration plants and street lights.
He also demanded compensation for losses incurred during the construction of the Metro Bus track.
