US investor to set up Fablab in Karachi

Asha Jadeja has made an offer of establishing a modern Fablab equipped with latest technologies in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh Information Technology department, Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) and Sindh Enterprises Development Fund (SEDF) will extend all cooperation to US investor Asha Jadeja of Motwani Jadeja Foundation in establishing Fablab - Fabrication Laboratory in Karachi. This was decided in a meeting between Sindh Minister for Information Technology Sikander Shoro and SBI Chairperson Naheed Memon on Wednesday, said a statement. They discussed the progress and offer made by the US investor to establish Fablab in Karachi. It was discussed that Jadeja has made an offer of establishing a modern Fablab equipped with latest technologies in Karachi, if 2,000 square yards land is provided to the foundation. The foundation will also provide financial assistance to materialise new ideas of students and people that come up with creative ideas.
